Okay i havent listened to these boys yet but i’m vouching for them on the strength of a convo i had with Ill-Skillz’s Tonny Jinxx when i expressed surprise nay shock at the fact that Cape Town finally has a colourful bling looking group repping it and he seemed to approve of them.
O picked this up at the Head Honcho website. Word up Nick.

Tracklist and download link after the jump.
This looks like definitely worth a listen so i might just go out and cop it later today. Tumi on the same song as Brickz. Wow! I remeber him telling me once how he’d never perform at the same show as Pitch Black Afro and since i personally, as im sure many of you do, consider Brickz to be from the same ilk, I guess Tumi has changed his perspective on things a little. I could be mistaken.
Ima try and get a tracklist for this hold tight.

Sleepless in Seattle](http://maliq.bandcamp.com/album/sleepless-in-seattle-my-mind-on-cap-city-2) was on Seattle-based Jake One’s beats and one each from Vitamin D and Bean One. Cap City on My Mind which I present to you now is solely handled by the big homie Trompie and includes remixes of the Sleepless in Seattle half and also some cuts from Official Bootlegs Vol. 1 mostly done by Nyambz. The cipher is now complete and I trust yall should be ready for my next offering, the Ilmatic-inspired A Mic & A Dream anytime now. Just let me get done with this fasting first I got yall. O been meaning to say, a now very belated Ramadhaan kareem if you’re reading this on an empty stomach. I cant’ lose. Let’s go!

Ladies and germs, straight outta Durban, South Africa… King B and Ewok are Illuminating Shadows.
Shouts to the homie Ewok for hitting me on the hip and giving me the heads up about this project which I honestly didn’t see coming. You might wanna hit the jump to read his breakdown of how it all came about but also because the download link is right after that.
Remeber the Michael Jackson Tribute Beat Tape with Battlekat, Instro and them? Of course. Here’s the Louis joint with the usual suspects Battlekat and Thir[13]teen and others.

Hosted by DJ Zakes, your favourite-Bantu-education-accent-kay-slayer, who also did Qba’s groundbreaking ‘Gutter Butter’, Damola’s internet release Cocky Mixtape is a ultra cool blend of more than just good old golden era lyricism over traditional boom bap beats. Keep reading…

Look if you don’t watch this DVD for anything else, watch it for the Headz Against Violence saga with big brother Tumi- if you haven’t already. Still cracks us up. Can’t believe they put it on there but then again, it’s cool how they tried to play it off as just another day in their drama-filled lives. That cover looks Clipse-ish though, that whole crack as a metaphor for music thing is really tired too. Get it here and at Ritual.
It’s confirmed DJ Beatoven is launching his 4th edition of “Straight out the oven” mixtapes in Pretoria at the world famous SA State Theatre next Saturday, that’s 26 April. Cover charge is R50 so don’t be coming up in there trying to pound the bouncer like you buddy-buddies. Yo, Buff where my VIP tickets at?
50’s coming to SA (again) - yippie - well not really, look I’m just mentioning this for archive purposes. The good folks at Rage are giving out some tickets here though. Go ahead I know you wanna click on the link, I’m waiting for Chris Rock to touchdown in June, gangster.
